Weller Insurance started back in 1990 by Dan Weller...after years of running local grocery stores and being involved in his community, he made the switch to insurance. He wanted a business where he could offer great customer service and really help his family, friends, neighbors and community! His wife Dianna joined him a few years later and they ran it themselves for many years. In 2005, I (Dana Johnson) became an agent and joined the staff. Dan passed away January 2, 2014 and is greatly missed. Before his passing he made his official retirement and handed down the agency to me. I am honored to keep on my father's legacy of excellent customer service for our community! My mom still works part-time and helps with running the business. We also have employed my cousin (DJ Frick - who has an agricultural background as well, employed since 2013) and Courtney Jennings (not related but will feel like family to everyone in no time, I'm sure!), employed since 2017. It truly is a family business that puts YOUR family first!

We are active community members and sponsor or participate in the various programs (and many more): youth little league teams through the Strasburg Rec and Kiowa Youth Athletics; our local 4-H kids raising livestock; Byers Booster club; the Deer Trail rodeo; the Annual Kari Lee Memorial run at Hometown Days; Hometown Days; Bennett Days; etc. I grew up in Byers and live in Strasburg now…being able to live, work and raise my family in the community I love is very important to me.
